To Build a Marketing List You Need an autoresponder

If you’ve been around internet marketing at all you have certainly heard the phrase “The Money Is in The List”. Almost every successful Internet Marketer in the world has said it and lives by it. And it really is true.

If you are not building your own list of prospects and existing customers, then you are not going to last long in Network Marketing.

To be successful in almost any kind of business you need to have a list of customers or prospects that you can communicate with. This is especially true if you run a network marketing business, home based business or any other type of online business. You must have a list, and use it to build a relationship with your prospects and continue ongoing marketing efforts to them.

There are many methods for building a list.

The basic idea is that you capture the names and email addresses from people that come to visit a website page, blog, landing page, etc. that you operate. While a person is visiting one of your sites you ask them to enter their email address and name into an opt-in box you have placed on your site. Usually, you will have to give them something of value to entice them into them giving you this information. But that’s okay, we are all about providing something of value, and this is a first step to start building a relationship and establishing credibility with a prospect.

The opt-in boxes you place on your pages are most commonly created using an autoresponder. You simply create an opt-in form using the autoresponder’s form tool and then copy and paste it into your website or blog. Once you have the opt-in form set up you can start to capture names and email addresses and begin building your prospect list.

Now it’s time to start building a relationship with your list of prospects. The goal is to become a trusted and respectful source of information. It is only after you have gained their trust that you should even consider marketing your products and/or services to them.

We will continue to expand more on this topic in the next posting on our autoresponder series.
