Using an AutoResponder to Get to The Best Location to be on the Internet

At this stage of the marketing life cycle, the best way to communicate with and work on building trust is by using an AutoResponder to send email messages to your list.

The most successful businesses in the world have a customer list / prospect data base that they draw from to get repeat sales and business.  If you look at retail businesses, every owner will tell you the most important factor in their success is their LOCATION.

So what does location have with Internet Marketing?

Well, it’s because if you have a good location you will get a lot of customer traffic into your store.   Potential customers “opt-in” to visiting a store because it’s close to where they live or work or shop.  This results in new and repeat business due to the store’s location.

One way to look at it is that brick and mortar stores need location and a good reputation to get customers to return to their store and generate business.  An Internet business is similar – you need it to be in a good location and you need to have a good reputation.

To establish a good location on the Internet you use a variety of methods to send traffic to a page of yours that has an opt-in form.  Once you capture the name and address of your prospect they go into your AutoResponder’s subscriber database.

You see, the Internet is an electronic communication media that is so vast that an actual “location” on the internet will not make a huge difference in the success of your business.

With a brick and mortar business the location is physical – it’s where they are and you can see them.

On the Internet, location is where everyone can see you but it’s not what you think.  Your location is not your website or blog – they are just a method of getting to your location – much like roads and cars are methods for people to get to a physical store.

In the Internet world, the most important location is the personal email box of your prospects.  Every Internet user visits their email boxes everyday (some every five minutes)!

So just like a physical store you need to be in a good location – in someone’s email box.  Then you can use your Autoresponder to send them email messages on a regular basis and work on establishing a solid relationship with them.

A big customer list and a good Autoresponder email campaign will place you in the best location you can imagine – right in front of your customer.

Remember, the BEST LOCATION to be on the Internet is in your prospect’s Email Inbox and to accomplish that you will need a good Autoresponder.
